The location is superior for public transportation with a train station (Omori Station) and local bus, bike options, and very walkable. Shopping plus... a 7/11 store (24 hours) attached to the hotel and Lawson across street. Omori Station has a multilevel shopping area and a supermarket. Locale and very pedestrian and bike friendly. Not car-centric like California. The staff at the Hotel is very accommodating and the room cleaning in excellent. A environmental stay for sure. Very well thought out environment plan is APA Japan. Check it out for yourself and enjoy the ease of your stay from check -in to unfortunately having to check-out of Omori Ekimae APA. Like! (:

Staff was super helpful when I forgot an item at the hotel after leaving. They're able to ship it to me (within Japan) very quickly and had responded asap to my request. Like other APA hotels, they offer new towels and robes every day, but I also wanted to note that this APA in particular felt newer and cleaner than other ones I've stayed at. The public bathhouse was also just as nice and is free for use as well. The hotel is also right next to the Omori station (but about a 30 minute train from spots such as Shibuya and Ueno), and it has an Atre shopping center at the station in case you wanted to have quick food that's not from a combini.

I had an excellent stay here! Loved everything about the property, clean, excellent size, room was well equipped had everything I needed and everyday I would receive clean towels and new yukata! My favorite item was the clothes spray they had that would refresh used items and clean any odors. I definitely recommend staying here, also the spa with the onsen was an incredible experience into japanese culture! The hotel was at most 30 minutes away via metro from the tourist attractions and the 7eleven had many food options and their milk tea options were excellent

First time staying in this area for a Tokyo trip, thought I'd save some time going south since I was planning to visit Kamakura, Hakone and Yokohama. The hotel is right next to the station and there are frequent trains in both directions, so it was quite convenient. The public bath is quite nice, there's an "outdoor" section for some fresh air. There's a convenience store on the first floor and a bunch of restaurants in walking distance. The only landmark nearby is Shinagawa aquarium, I recommend going there if you arrived too early for check in.

Second time I stay in this hotel, felt the room was even better planned than the last time with just enough space for everything. While I was checking in the staff rolled out the suitcase I sent from another city, I didn't even have to mention it. Same advantages as last time: close to the station, onsen on site, everything was clean. Also a little tip: this time I explored the neighborhood a bit and definitely recommend the supermarket SEIYU a block away it's cheaper than 7-11 on the ground floor and has a wide selection of products.
